Summary/Abstract: It was the beginning of the 20th century when societies started increasingly showing their interest in correlation between sexuality and development of human beings and their lives. Scientific publications describing various aspects of sexuality appeared. Simultaneously, there were some social movements that questioned traditional sexual ethics and laws relating to sexual behaviors (penalization of abortion and homosexual orientation). The purpose of this paper is to present actions that were undertaken in Europe and in Poland in the interwar time (1918-1939) in order to create a new model of sexuality based on scientific approach.
