Summary/Abstract: The analysis contributes to further research by the author on the participation of state vocational colleges (PWSZ) in promoting the region. The aim of the study is to show the relationship between the vocational education of the state higher education institutions, based on cooperation with the local environment and the strengthening of the regional identity. The article discusses selected elements of scientific, didactic, cultural and promotional activities that influence the building of the city's brand (college seat) and the region, also highlighted the participation of the school’s library and the publishing house in the process.
