THE HISTORICAL PROCESS OF THE TEACHING OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE AND A GENERAL VIEW TO ITS CURRENT POSITION IN TURKEY

Summary/Abstract: This article is dedicated to the chronological period and development since the Russian language began to be taught in Turkish educational institutions for the first time. Besides, the role of Russian language in development of political, trade and cultural relations between two countries was also mentioned. In adjoining with all above mentioned, information on the role, current position and development of Russian language and literature, training courses where Russian language is being taught, technical equipment of those courses was reflected in this article.
