Summary/Abstract: The human and social dimensions, present in all national and international strategies, is approached from the insertion incentive perspective – a social assistance benefit given to one parents if he returns to work before finalizing the child rearing leave. Through the return of these beneficiaries, this insertion incentive creates a strong connection between the social assistance reform and the labour market. Due to the consistent and sudden increase of this incentive amount, the number of persons returning in employment before finalizing their maternity leave significantly increased. The return to work has positive effects both for persons (full salary, income supplementation through receiving this benefit, etc.), but also for the firms (potential, performance, visible results, etc., important for the strategic management). All these multiple connotations of a strategic management, emphasised in its specific dimensions respectively individual, but also economic and organisational aspects are strongly interconnected. These win-win policies are also important considering multiple perspectives both for person, for the targets of the social assistance reform strategy and for human resources strategy of every organisation. This paper aims at analysing this social assistance benefit as an important activation instrument that connects this trinomial consisting in: the individual – the social assistance system – employment/organization.
