Summary/Abstract: In the paper we deal with the interpretation of selected poems from the collections of Jana Bodnárová. We chose poetic texts from the book Z periférií (2013). The interpretation of selected poems allows us to go through an understanding of their meaning, emphasizing the meaning of some literary motifs, to understand Bodnárová's poetry as the creation of the poet with the potential to offer aesthetically effective testimony about the world and to reach to transform it through its ethical code.
