Summary/Abstract: The increasing level of technology and computerization of contemporary society radically transformed the nature of the conflict by adding new dimensions and components. The opportunities offered by the new systems and the growing interest of the world’s major economic and military powers have placed the aerospace domain at the forefront of this revolutionary technological revolution. Against the backdrop of unprecedented technological advances, particularly in the field of computing and communications systems, we are witnessing a paradigmatic shift in the nature of the airline, governed by the trends of integration, miniaturization and automation of air forces and means of air combat. On the other hand, ground-based defense systems are in a direct competition with modern airline threats in an attempt to remain relevant in this increasingly complex airspace.
