Summary/Abstract: The understanding of the defining features of contemporary science decisively controls the way in which we conceptualize the legal knowledge - the particular type of knowledge, as well as the practical legal approach. Also, from the methodological experience of philosophy and science can be retained an inventory (of course partial and relative) of gross-modo methodological rules, with repetitive, interdependent, interfering, complementary, but also opposing elements, impracticable as such. But we think that this methodological exercise can offer suggestions and potentials to the jurist's own approach, which according to their context and objectives must filter, select, build their own methodological standards, revise, innovate, being open to theory and practice , so not infallible, but vulnerable, but always perfectionable. Legal science is set up in a complex, relative, multi-level and multidimensional manner through the contribution of the experience of the legal system but also of the multi-inter-trans-disciplinary network of contemporary knowledge.
