Summary/Abstract: The object of the study from which this is an excerpt is the relation of language-communication-identity, focused on the question ‘how through language we can influence the shaping of identity. The research problem is: what is the role of language and communication of parents with their children, in the period from conception to school age, for the formation of personal identity? The thesis is that for the children in preschool age, their role is constitutive, in support of which diverse arguments are presented and critically assessed (based on authors like L. Wittgenstein, J. Austin, F. Dolto, E. Erikson, P. Bourdieu, M. Szejer etc.)
