Summary/Abstract: The present paper is starting from the premise of a major shift concerning the center of global power, within the XXIst century world, a shift from Eurasia to Pacific area, that means implicitly, to abandon the Mackinder classical theory on the ”world pivot” concept, in the light of the geostrategic changes that happened from 1904 until now, transforming not only the category of political actors involved, but also, the world key-regions. Theory of” Pacific Century” was a constant and also, a priority for the US foreign policy during the last administrations, preserving nevertheless, its preeminence in the US security strategy elaborated in December 2017.
