Summary/Abstract: Commercial credit is fundamentally different from bank credit in that while the bank borrows depositors money or funds of other banks, civil lender (creditor) borrows his money. Credit risk is evaluated differently given that evaluation can be done from the perspective of bank, which must follow the rules of Basel II, fact detailed in the second chapter, or in terms of a rating agency which can propose a credit limit which can be granted to company based on a calculated rating based on financial and qualitative indicators
