Summary/Abstract: The study is an overview of the phenomenon of organized crime since the occurrence, an image of what means „organized crime”, its implications for national and transnational economy. Knowledge of this phenomenon and understanding the mechanism of a criminal organization leads to the implementation of flexible tools "resort" that can curb the phenomenon of organized crime, being able to keep pace with the means used by members of the organized crime group to conceal these facts and creating an appearance of legality on illegally obtained assets.
