Summary/Abstract: Developments in recent years in the area of information technology and communication led to a radical change in the way nations and coalitions of nations are planning and conducting security communication. After a long period of time when security borrowed communication paradigms from areas like commercial marketing and electoral marketing, today security exports instruments and methodologies in those areas. This article emphasizes that one of the behavioral communication formula that proved to be efficient in NATO psychological operations conducted in Afghanistan was successfully used by Donald Trump during the presidential campaign in the United States of America.
