Summary/Abstract: Living cells differ in electrical potential between inside and outside the cell, both in rest (membrane potential) and during cell (action potential). One of the most popular in terms of electrical behavior of cells, is to align the application of an electrostatic field, so much focused their direction becomes perpendicular to the electric current. Achieved through experience, has proved that high-voltage pulses can destroy microorganisms. Another effective way to destroy microorganisms is ultrasound. At certain values of the ultrasonic field intensity and duration of ultrasonic, can destroy the protozoa, bacteria, viruses.
