Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to review the evaluation and current status of right to information in Turkey through examining the websites of 30 metropolitan municipalities. The results have revealed the problems for implementation of judicatory and administrative regulations concerning right to information. The information and documents that have to be published according to the Act of Basis and Principles for Right to Information are not available on the websites of most of the metropolitan municipalities in Turkey. Obstacles to use the right to information should be eliminated and judicatory and administrative regulations should be put into practice in order to talk about more democratic and transparent administration.
