Summary/Abstract: By the end of the 15th century, Spain had been transformed into an intercontinental empire, Seville being the epicenter of this change.The wealth from newly conquered territory was caused a new formation and the birth of art scene. The era in which the Spanish Empire rose up in politics, economy and art was called, "The Golden Age." In this age, Seville played an important role in both the economy and art, becoming the city that determined the course of art history in Spain. Economic and sociological growth of Seville created also a political power. And all these conditions caused artistic and cultural progress as well. This provided the appearance of tree important painters in this city such as Velazquez, Zurbaran and Murillo. And It is a good example for the art and the conditions that brings out the art.
