THE GEOPOLITICS OF A REMANENT RIFT

Summary/Abstract: The essential strategic rift between Est and Vest – the Black Sea, the Baltic Sea – was reactivated. The illusion that, finally, the ancient conflict between European and Asian Russia, on the one hand, and Western Europe and the United States of America, on the other hand, has ended is to dispel. What happens, in fact, in Ukraine there is just what appears to be, a battle between pro-western Ukrainians and Ukrainians pro-Eastern, but also a very complicated impact effect of a huge geopolitical game.
