Summary/Abstract: Trauma is a powerful experience that can be compared with extreme stress. Traumatic experiences can take the long-term effects, which sometimes cannot be reversed. The most common characteristic symptoms of trauma is the so-called mental numbness and shock (shock, bewilderment). People experiencing a traumatic experience are aware of lived events, where quite often they are erased from your memory. The most painful is the investigation to full health – before the triggering of the event trauma. Trauma is therefore a psychic trauma, which occurs due to activation of factor threatening the health or life of the individual. This can be: traffic accident, assault, robbery, rape or death of a close and dear person. Trauma can result in the formation of many mental illnesses, for example. Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and various somatic complaints.
