Twenty years of scientific cooperation (from the experience of scientific-bonds of the Department of sources of Russian history at St. Petersburg State University and the Department of the Russian history of Tambov State University)

Summary/Abstract: The article sums up the scholar results of the 20-year cooperation between the Chair of Historical Sources (St.-Petersburg State University) and the Chair of Russian History (Tambov State University). The authors display the concrete results of a co-study within a row of international and home projects on various aspects of Russian modern history, 17–20 cc. (social-demographic issues, 1861 peasant (emancipation) reform, history of Russian frontier et c.). Special attention is paid to the source-study approaches on the point of primary mass sources, to a math-statistical method, historical simulation and modern informative technologies. Post-graduate schooling, head-organization’s activities on candidate and doctoral theses at both universities are also among the main questions under discussion.
