Structure of the incomes of land and urban counties in the west pomeranian voivodeship in the years 2012–2016

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to indicate differences in the structure of budget incomes between land and urban counties. The main focus was on presenting the essence and tasks that are implemented by the county. Next, the structure of county budget incomes was analyzed. In order to achieve the set goal, an analysis of the literature on territorial self-governments and budgets of the land and urban counties was carried out. Based on the analyzes carried out, there is a difference in the structure of income in both types of counties. In the case of the land counties, a significant part of the income is represented by general subsidies, for urban counties these are own incomes. This indicates a much greater economic independence of urban districts in comparison with land districts.
