Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article was to find commodity groups in Polish exports directed to selected African countries covered by the New Silk Road strategy, where Poland has revealed symmetrical comparative advantages and is their net exporter. This means that these product groups are hypothetically able to compete with the Chines exports. The following hypothesis was verified: despite the inclusion of selected African countries in the New Silk Road strategy, Polish exports to selected African markets can still compete in selected product groups with Chinese exports. The article uses the product mapping schemes for 75 product groups. The research objects are: Egypt, Ethiopia and Morocco. On the basis of product mapping schemes, we indicated product groups, in which the Poland’s position is better than the status of China.
