Storing and displaying parchment manuscripts

Summary/Abstract: Recommendations are presented for the preservation and storage of documents written on parchment. The reasons for breaking the parchment manuscripts have been analyzed. Different lesions of permanent documents were examined in preventive conservation and restoration. It has been pointed out that historically valuable parchment manuscripts are very sensitive to heat and relative humidity. It is necessary for different terms in relation to the preservation of these special documents.
