Summary/Abstract: In June of this year the National Library “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Malta Libraries – a government entity established by the Malta Libraries Act of 2011. The entity consists of the National Library and the Malta Public Libraries network which in turn comprises the Central Public Libraries in Malta and Gozo as well as 54 Regional and Branch libraries scattered throughout both islands. This paper provides a glimpse of the National Library of Malta – its history, collections, activities, etc.
