Summary/Abstract: At the end of the nineteenth century, there appeared a new trend called Art Nouveau, which dominated all areas of fine arts, and was most fully expressed in architecture and crafts. The sites that were under the influence of Art Nouveau ornamentation, for understandable reasons, included also pharmacies. Pharmacy windows, emblems, furniture, pharmaceutical utensils, packaging for medicines, advertising and advertising catalogues were performed in accordance to this trend. Today, many of them can be seen in the Museum of Pharmacy of the Jagiellonian University.
