A welcoming address by the Chairman of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad to the Council of Ministers

Summary/Abstract: Honorable compatriots, In our capacity as a state institution, we are honored to turn to the Bulgarians around the world to welcome and familiarize you with the newest and most up-to-date themes concerning the various Bulgarian communities around the world, gathered in this unique collection and realized by you yourselves “THE BULGARIANS ABROAD – SO NEAR, YET SO FAR“, PART 2, 2017. It is part of the strategic policy of the State Agency for the Bulgarians Abroad to support such editions, with the purpose to promote the specifics, the organizational structure, the new educational and cultural units, the as¬sociations, the clubs, the spirit of entrepreneurship and the sustainability of our emigrants abroad, the successful undertakings but also the concerns of our fellow citizens in a variety of professional and personal situations. We are convinced that wherever Bulgarian speech, sincere desire and urge to preserve the Bulgarian identity, spirituality, Orthodoxy and culture exist, we as a responsible institution will strive to support your ideas, so that you persist – closer or farther from the Motherland.
