Summary/Abstract: The study is based on field studies among Bulgarian immigrants in the UK conducted in the 2007–2015 period. It seeks to trace the impact of glo¬balization and various transnational practices on Bulgarian way of life and culture over there. The study focuses on various dimensions of globaliza¬tion such as cheap and fast transport, the possibilities of virtual communica¬tion with family and relatives in Bulgaria, online exchange of experience, knowledge and faith, and even food, through which the emigrants maintain their strong connection with the “Bulgarian” and reaffirm their identification within the super-diverse British society. In that way, they manage to main¬tain their peace of mind, create own internal security in the new state, and begin to feel ‘at home’.
