Summary/Abstract: The relationship existing between the doctor and the patient has a special character. It usually refers to the situation in which a person experiences pain and suffering. It comes from the disease. The doctor has the responsibility to take specific actions that will heal the patient. The goal is also to reduce the level of pain experienced by a particular person. A medic can take similar interventions with the patient’s consent. In a number of clinical situations, there are times when it is not clear whether the patient has consciously agreed to be diagnosed and treated. The patient’s condition prevents him from, for example, signing his/her consent for a therapeutic procedure. Can the patient agree in a different way? Is it permissible to deposit a fingerprint? Will this action be consistent with the practice of the medical profession and respect for the rights of the patient? The article is intended to address similar concerns.
