PROCESUL GLOBALIZĂRII ŞI MEDIUL DE SECURITATE
THE PROCESS OF GLOBALIZATION AND THE SECURITY ENVIRONMENT

Summary/Abstract: It is a fact that in contemporary society the essential characteristic is the process of globalization. Although in a broad sense globalization refers to the deepening and hurrying of economic, political, cultural interdependencies, this process needs to be analysed in more detail. In spite of a proliferation of definitions in the contemporary debate, among them those referring to "accelerating interdependence", "remote action" and "space-time compression", there is little in the current literature about attempts to specify what " globally "in globalization.I think that globalization can be analysed from at least three perspectives: as a factual reality, as a theory and product of systemic and research analysis and as an ideology as a product of contemporary society.
