Summary/Abstract: After destroying the Roman Catholic Parish Church in Kobryń in 1812, the new parish church was built under the supervision of the parish priest Rev. Antoni Kisielewski and blessed by him in August 1845, then consecrated by the bishop of Vilnius Wacław Żyliński in 1851. The presented inventory of the Parish dedicated to the Assumption of Mary in Kobryń dates back to the interwar years of the Second Polish Republic. The inventory was prepared by the parish priest Józef Kuczyński on 21 August 1933. According to this inventory, the parish of Kobryń (along with the all the inventory) was taken over by Rev. Jan Węckiewicz, a new parish priest, in the presence of Rev. Bronisław Kiełbasa, the delegate of the Curia of Pińsk and the dean of Brest.
