Stories from the past of the Protestant congregations

Summary/Abstract: The constant turmoil of the past centuries has resulted in numerous peculiar stories. Through a collection of such stories, the author shows the situation and development of the Protestant parishes in Vojvodina. The aim is not to present a historical account, but rather to get an insight into the sometimes joyful and at other times difficult life of the community. Cunningness and stubbornness were often needed to overcome the hardships, but faith and humanity were always there to provide support.
