Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to present the findings of the study conducted among journalism and social communication students at seven Polish universities. The study is a part of the international research project „Journalism Students Around the Globe”. The paper examines students’ motivations, expectations, professional experience and plans, as well as their evaluation of the journalism education.
