ТРАНЗИТНИЙ ПОТЕНЦІАЛ РЕГІОНУ: ОЦІНКА ТА НАПРЯМИ ОПТИМІЗАЦІЇ
TRANSIT CAPACITY REGION: EVALUATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF LINES

Summary/Abstract: The need for development and effective usage of the country’s and its regions transit potential is sound. Methods of the region’s transit potential analysis and evaluation have been developed in this research, and they are divided into such stages: definition of purpose, subject, object and task of the estimation; the choice of principles, concepts and methods of estimation; the choice of the region’s transit potential destinations evaluation; the choice of indicators for evaluation; calculation of the region’s transit potential integral index; development of measures to optimize the region’s transit potential. The state and regional transit potential evaluation was conducted in the research and the level of transit potential was calculated. The directions for transit potential optimization have been proposed. The optimal location for the regional transport and logistics centre in seaside area was specified. The specification of the regional logistics centres’ optimal location was conducted, which would optimize transport flows in the regions of the state.
