Summary/Abstract: In this article I raise the question about consciousness, which stems from a philosophical issue. Distinguishes here two ontologies: the first resulting from the existence of the physical world, including biological, and the other, resulting from the assessment of the existence of non-biological beings, focusing primarily on the artificial intelligence. Ontological origins is crucial here to a finally modal treatment of such phenomena as intelligence or consciousness. I’m going to describe these phenomena as arising from these two ontologically different substrates, but in some way being similar. The consequence of this expanded understanding of intelligence and consciousness shows that they are the feature, and not the property of human.
