Summary/Abstract: When I think about my development as a researcher and how Chuck Goodwin has made it possible and impacted it, it is difficult to maintain any sense of a separate self at all, and impossible to imagine one without him. I feel, rather, that in my relationship with Chuck and his ideas, I have made a niche in the crevices of a much larger being, one that produces copious amounts of nutrients.
