Summary/Abstract: Outlining the articles in this number, Nasiłowska remarks that while the range of questions is diverse, touching on a variety of themes and using different methods, the qualities they share characteristic of the humanities and of the self-reflexive subject. A tendency to be self-critical, to problematize rather than to describe and the constant care to broaden the cultural field to be tackled in a scholarly manner – these are key to Teksty Drugie and the humanities today.
