Deficiencies in the protection of monuments of church art in the forensic aspect

Summary/Abstract: The protection of both church cultural property and church immovable cultural heritage requires cooperation between the competent church administration bodies and public administration authorities. The sacred cultural heritage constitutes an important part of the national heritage. Unfortunately, cultural property objects from churches constitute a majority on the list of those which often become the subject of crimes against cultural heritage in general. Thus it is necessary to install or upgrade already existing security measures which will provide the proper protection against theft, destruction, or acts of vandalism.
