Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to introduce the main elements that impact the amount of financial costs related to mastering the Chinese language. The author compares: online tools, costs of private Chinese lan-guage courses and didactic materials, scholarship offers, etc. The article includes as well, the level of access to education (schools and lecturers), the position of the People’s Republic of China in the in-ternational arena and the level of trust of the Polish society in goods produced in the PRC.
