HATE SPEECH TOWARDS THE DOMINANT CULTURE. THE USERS OF THE INTERNET FORUMS ABOUT CATHOLIC CHURCH IN POLAND

Summary/Abstract: In the article I discuss the phenomenon of hate speech towards Catholic Church in the context of the contemporary criticism of this institution in Poland. I analyze the comments of the Internet users on popular portal Onet.pl for the characteristics of the hate speech. I enumerate its recipients and forms which we can specify during the deep analysis. I interpret also the language of the Internet users. I try to point the causes of hate speech online and partly characterize an average hater. I point out the salience of my research problem and I try to prove why we should research the Internet which is specific environment.
