Summary/Abstract: The new information technology makes a chance to collect enormous collections of information (Big Data, especially from the net) and to make their custom analysis – refining the information. The result is a valuable and inexpensive to obtain, the new source of the data. The data provide a genuine picture of the past, the real-time picture and the predictions. This is confi rmed by, among others, results of research on political activity during presidential and parliamentary elections in Poland (2011, 2015).
