Summary/Abstract: The article Un debut în forță (A Debut in Force) is a literary chronicle dedicated to the debut novel of the Romanian writer Doina Jela, entitled Villa Margareta. The article notes the ability to work with various literary concepts in the construction of the book, the author succeeding in combining several influences to create an original ensemble, which tempts the world of provincial teachers. The novel follows the drama of the Romanian society's transition from the reality and the mentality of Communism to the post-revolutionary life and perspective, when it’s time for understanding the past and for reconciliation with it. "Villa Margareta" is a metaphor of the attempt to escape from the absurd with the help of fictionalization and idealism.
