Image and Identity on the Web

Summary/Abstract: This article raises issues of image and identity in cyberspace. After describing definitions and explaining what the image and identity are in the modern world, attention has been focused on the problem of publishing the images of children on the Internet, whilst they are not able to agree on that by legal means. It has been also pointed out that in the virtual world, the image and identity of individuals are significantly different from those of real life.
