Summary/Abstract: The paper examines some letters issued by king Sigismund of Luxemburg, which are currently housed by the archives of the municipal libraries of Udine and Cividale. The letters, which are published in extenso, date from the period between 1411 and 1418, the years when Hungary and the Republic of Venice were engaged in a war for the possession of Friuli.
