Summary/Abstract: Starting from the first traditionalists and going as far as to the sceptic post-modernists, Marian Buciu’s Panorama proves to be a fine radiography of the most important Romanian novels of the last century. Moreover, the study is characterised by an analytical finesse and a specific sobriety. Buciu’s work also stems from a personal project, i.e. the ambition to configure a canon of the Romanian novel, which he proposes to a reader reluctant to any sudden change. In the interpretations that can be found in the two volumes, Marian Victor Buciu highlights the affective psychologies, the scriptural perspectives and the overmeasures of former interpretations.
