LOCAL INITIATIVE AS AN EXAMPLE OF CO-PRODUCTION OF PUBLIC SERVICES

Summary/Abstract: As a result of weaknesses of new public management and new public governance there is a search of the third way. One of the alternative is an idea of co-production of public services. In Polish circumstances it relates to local initiative. Author examine how this tool is implemented in cities associated in the Union of Polish Metropolis according to conducted research.
