The John Paul II Library of the Higher Theological Seminary from the Perspective of Twenty-Five Years of Diocese of Legnica

Summary/Abstract: The John Paul II Library in Legnica is an integral part of the Higher Theological Seminary of Diocese of Legnica, which was established in 1993. It’s very diversified collection consists of 120 thousand volumes. Since 1995 the library belongs to the Federation of the Church Libraries FIDES. The library activities, apart from the basic functions, include publishing and organizing scientific sessions. Since 2012, as a part of it the Digital Library of Diocese of Legnica has been running. In 2014 the library began cooperative cataloguing with FIDES member libraries.
