Summary/Abstract: A short survey on Czechoslovak / Slovak – Romanian Relations in 20th Century. The paper provides a brief synthesis of Czechoslovak / Slovak-Romanian relationships in the 20th century. It is built on author’s multiple stays in Romania and own archival research, conducted for more than 10 years, on interviews with several Romanian officials and works of important Romanian, Slovak and Czech historians. The emphasis is put on key moments and figures that were behind the political (General M. R. Štefánik), diplomatic (Corneliu Mănescu, August 1968), economic and military events and relations (Petite Entente).
