Summary/Abstract: Based on results of linguistic analyse, this paper tries to explain the functioning of bribery taking into consideration moral values both in the universal and relativistic perspectives. It aims furthermore at showing that the language material enables to study the stances of people implicated in bribery cases. The point here is to consider language practice as a window into exploring categories of act and being in these cases. Partakers in the act of bribery, most of the time simplistically reduced to the duo initiator/receiver of the bribe, revealed by the theorization work will be illustrated from the analysis of discursive fragment.
