Shaping Local Security by the Example of Police District Headquarters in Legionowo

Summary/Abstract: The first part of the article presents the essence and nature of basic tasks performed by the police field units. In next part, local security was diagnosed on the basis of data collected by Police Headquarters in Legionowo. Another important problem was the analysis of preventive programs implemented in Legionowo district. The final part deals with the summary of local security shaping on the example of the Police District Headquarters in Legionowo, as well as the projection of changes, i.e. proposed actions for improvement of this process.
