Summary/Abstract: Strawson's concept of persons, as formulated in Individuals, excludes, among others, the possibility of non-referential use of "I". The latter part of the book, however, admits the possibility of so-called feature-placing statements, with non-referential use of demonstratives. By applying this doctrine on statements about psychical states, the present essay suggests away of enlarging Strawson's perspective so as to make his concept of person more comprehensive and more plausible.
