Model of Corporate Information Security Management in an Enterprise

Summary/Abstract: Keeping the business in an IT environment involves a growing number of internal and external threats to the security of corporate information resources. On the basis of an analysis of literature and reports on information security in business entities, the author presents factors that currently affect the way of keeping business in an IT environment. A classification of the key regulations related to the issue of ensuring corporate information security is outlined. Subsequently, on the basis of the identified factors, a model corporate information security management is proposed. The research methods employed for the purpose of the paper include a review of literature and regulations, as well as deduction, induction and inference.
