Summary/Abstract: The observation of market allows to conclude that it is filled with market behaviour of entities both on its demand and supply side. The market behaviour of enterprises is vital to an effective functioning of the whole socio-economic system. The ability to compete and create efficient market strategies leads to an efficient allocation of resources. Every enterprise has to define whether it concentrates on the improvement of the product or the efficient ways of reaching the client, whether it diversifies or specialises. The goal of the article is to verify if generating various strategic market behaviour results in a diverse level of economic efficiency. In particular, it is vital to establish if this behaviour results in different levels of profitability, liquidity, solvency and productibility. The research is focused on 40 enterprises which constitute the mWIG40 index. There are nominal variables describing the class of behaviour and the quantitative variables showing the economic effectiveness. The distribution of the variables is verified with the Shapiro-Wilk test and the differences in the levels of variables are verified with a MANOVA analysis.
